Pearson,
Dublin based jewellery designer launched 'Dollymix Jewellery'
in 2005.
Clare, who is professionally trained as a graphic designer,
wanted to explore her creative talent even further. A great
passion for 'all things sparkly' led her to start making her
own jewellery.
Over time she developed different styles and techniques, ever-evolving
her designs. A world-wide trip inspired her further, giving
her a greater appreciation of the different types of semi-precious
stones and their meanings. This culminated in her creating quality
pieces in such a beautiful style that she was eagerly encouraged
by friends and family to launch her jewellery business.
Resourcing a diverse selection of stunning beads invoked memories
for Clare of choosing delicious sweets from a huge 'Pick-'n'-Mix'.
This sparked the idea for the name 'Dollymix Jewellery'. The collection incorporates sterling silver, carefully selected
semi-precious stones, swarovski crystal, freshwater pearls and
mother of pearl.
All semi-precious stones have different qualities and meanings.
A special feature included with every purchase from 'Dollymix
Jewellery' is a small bespoke label explaining the meanings
of the semi-precious stones.
Every piece of jewellery is unique and individually made. The
stones used have their own natural beauty, therefore the colour may vary slightly from that illustrated. |
